Temporary (90 day Locums) Clinic Physician- Primary Care – (Clinic Setting) – Weatherford, TX IntraCare (DFW Healthcare MSO) provides managed services to multiple healthcare entities in the greater Dallas Fort Worth area under their various business names. The Physician, specializing in primary care, will make decisions on patient care and work closely with the clinic team to provide excellent clinical services to various clinic locations. They will direct, implement, and provide a plan of care for patients at clinics. They will provide general preventative care, conduct check-ups, treat both acute and subacute illnesses, order lab tests, and prescribe medication for patients. Primary Care Physician’s Responsibilities: Evaluate, assess, and treat patientsxe2x80x99 medical conditions. Order lab and other diagnostic testing and interprets results. Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times. Collect, record, and maintain sensitive patient information such as examination results, medical history, and reports. Perform minor procedures. Explain procedures or prescribed treatments to patients. Liaise with medical professionals in the community and hospitals. Promote health education in conjunction with other health professionals. Meet targets set by the government for specified treatments. Discuss and evaluate new pharmaceutical products with pharmaceutical representatives. Keep up to date with medical developments, treatment, and medication. Observe and assess the work of trainee doctors and medical students as needed. Supervise mid-level providers. Degree in Medicine (required) 3 years of residency training (required) Current Texas medical license and Federal DEA license (required) (unincumbered/w/o adverse actions) Outpatient Experience Required Experience with the Senior Populations treating Medicare patients desired Highly proficient in using EMR ECW experience is a plus Fantastic counseling and listening skills Superb organizational and time management skills Excellent decision-making skills and communication Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Compassionate nature with the ability to make patients feel at ease Great management and leadership skills Geriatrics Internal Medicine Primary Care Monday to Friday Dallas Ft.
