Medical Doctor – Locum Tenens Trusted Medical About Us Trusted Medical LLC (www.trusted-medical.com) is the clinical care delivery affiliate of Edera LC3 (https://www.edera.com). We specialize in serving Veterans by reducing wait times for them to gain access to disability screens required to be evaluated for VA benefits. This role will directly support the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in conducting assessments for the determination of disability benefits for Veterans applying for benefits from the VA. The Physician will perform face-to-face clinical assessments of the Veteran and provide assessment documentation on findings. These assessments will be conducted in a variety of assigned and agreed-upon locations with set schedules. About the Position The General Medicine Physician will perform an in-person visit with the Veterans to perform evaluations to complete the required Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) for submission to VA for eligibility determination. In addition, the position will provide direct employee health and simple urgent care services. DBQs include questions that require a direct clinical exam of the Veteran in the office (e.g., testing the range of motion of joints, documentation of crepitus, etc.) which cannot be done via virtual encounter. This effort will decrease a backlog of overdue assessments and to assist VA with adequately determining Veteran benefits. The Provider will coordinate with other assigned project teams and internal corporate divisions to ensure all aspects of assigned project(s) are maintaining continuous quality progress and meeting contractual obligations. This role requires excellent and expeditious assessment skills. In some cases, additional testing will be required which may require local assistance and coordination. Ideal candidates have a proven track record of high reliability working in a very independent atmosphere with little oversight. We value the compassionate care of this unique population. Complete and submit all required documentation timely and completely, including DBQs in the required format 3.
