We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Locum Tenens Family Medicine or Outpatient Internal Medicine Physician to join our team in beautiful Arizona. As a locum tenens physician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to our diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive outpatient medical care to patients of all ages, including routine check-ups, diagnoses, and treatment plans. Perform thorough physical examinations, medical history reviews, and make accurate diagnoses. Develop and implement treatment plans in accordance with evidence-based medicine, patient preferences, and healthcare facility protocols. Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and promote healthy lifestyle choices. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and support staff, to provide comprehensive care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including electronic health records (EHR) documentation. Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare laws, regulations, and ethical standards. Qualifications: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school. Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. Active and unrestricted state medical license in Arizona. DEA license for prescribing medications. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
