Job Title: Locum Primary Care Physician Location: Ochelata, Oklahoma Position Type: Temporary/Locum Tenens Compensation: $5,913 per week Job Description: Our healthcare facility in Stilwell, Oklahoma is actively seeking a Board Certified Family Practice or Internal Medicine physician to join us as a Locum Primary Care Physician on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the care of adult patients in our primary care clinic. This position offers a competitive compensation package of $5,913 per week. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive medical examinations and assessments for adult patients. Diagnose and treat a range of acute and chronic illnesses in a primary care setting. Prescribe medications and formulate treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Manage an average daily caseload of 15-20 patients, encompassing routine appointments and drop-in/acute care visits. Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure holistic patient care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, adhering to established protocols. Adhere to clinic hours from 0800 to 1700, Monday through Friday. Allocate additional time as needed for the completion of medical records, training sessions, and staff meetings. Qualifications: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. Board certification in Family Practice or Internal Medicine. Valid and unrestricted medical license in the state of Oklahoma. Proven experience as a Primary Care Physician, preferably in a family practice or internal medicine setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage a caseload of 15-20 patients daily, balancing routine and acute care needs. Cerner experience is preferred. ACLS/BLS certification is required. Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
