Evolve Healthcare is seeking a Primary Care Physician for a 31 week contract with the CA CDCR at their Santa Ana Ca Telehealth Office. *Must be actively licensed in the state of California* Schedule is Mon-Fri Days 8am-4pm or 7am-3pm; 40 hours per week-no weekends/no call/no nights. Contract duration is 31 weeks. Must be ready to start within 30 days of submission. ASAP start pending credentialing. Compensation is $5,000 gross per week paid every Friday. W2 hourly rate is $125/hr. If 1099 desired, contractor must provide a copy of their liability insurance. POSITION SUMMARY: This position is located in Telemedicine Services, Medical Services. The program provides vital primary care services to CCHCS patients in the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitationxe2x80x99s institutions via remote video conferencing from a CCHCS regional office. Utilizing the latest technologies, staff provides improved access to medical services statewide, while decreasing costs associated with transportation and custody, and risk to public safety. Currently, Telemedicine Services offers a wide range of specialty services including cardiology; physical medicine and rehab; oncology; dermatology; and ear, nose, and throat. Additional information: Excellent Computers skills. Above average level competency with EHRs. Experience with complicated medical problems. Above average medical knowledge and experience managing complicated medical cases. Ability to use different software applications. Ability to multitask at a fast pace. Ability to work independent without much support. Excellent communication skills with a remote team, phone, email and Skype. Required: Must be licensed in the state of CA Primary Care Physician must be a Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy (M.D./D.O.)
