Evolve Healthcare is seeking a Primary Care Physician for a 25 week contract at the California Institute for Women located in Corona California. *Must be actively licensed in the state of California* Schedule is Mon-Fri Days 7am-5pm; 40 hours per week, 4 x 10 hours shifts-no weekends/no call/no nights. Contract duration is 25 weeks. Anticipated start date is 30 days after submission. Compensation is $6,500 gross per week paid every Friday. W2 hourly rate is $125/hr with 1.5x OT paid after 8 hours in a day. Guaranteed 8 hours OT/week at $187.50 About the Facility: The primary mission of the California Institution for Women is to provide a safe and secure environment for primarily Level I/III female offenders. This mission is further defined by our responsibility to provide quality health care and institution programs specifically geared to meet the special needs of female offenders. Specialized programs include academic and vocational programs, pre-release and substance abuse programming, pre-forestry and camp training, an arts in corrections program and a wide variety of inmate self-help groups and community betterment projects. POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Physician Supervisor, the Institution Physician is responsible for professional medical services to inmates in accordance with standards of practice in Corrections and Community standards, and the Bureau of Health Services Policies, Procedures and Standards. In general, the Physician attends to the medical needs of inmates, diagnosing and treating illness and injuries and arranging for professional consultation when warranted; supervises, in conjunction with the Health Service Manager, the development and implementation of treatment protocols and patient flow charts. Required: Must be licensed in the state of CA Primary Care Physician must be a Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy (M.D./D.O.)
