We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to generate and develop new and existing business within a specified region or industry. This role requires a proactive, hunter mentality with a strong background in the shipping and logistics industry, particularly with experience at UPS or FedEx.Essential Functions and Basic Duties:Achieve assigned KPIs and revenue goals in prospecting, portfolio growth, and new sales.Effectively communicate our value proposition to prospects and clients, discussing topics like shipping, e-commerce, and regulated commodities.Source leads, make contact, follow up, and direct sell to customers to achieve your annual quota.Collaborate with the Senior Sales team to exchange leads.Present pricing and contracts to customers and negotiate deals effectively.Evaluate P&L, costs, and make strategic margin decisions.Discuss technology concepts such as API, billing file, and tracking portal at a high level.Occasionally serve as an escalation point for customer concerns.Use CRM effectively, ensuring all relevant customer details are entered accurately.Ensure smooth account handoff to the Account Management Department after launching a deal.Work closely with finance to ensure pricing and financial terms are accurately reflected on customer invoices and resolve any inaccuracies.Plan, implement, and manage solutions to grow the account base and drive market share growth.Develop mutually valuable relationships with customers by understanding their key needs and requirements.Serve as the communication lead between key customers and internal teams.Qualifications:Experience: Two to four years of related direct sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in the shipping and logistics industry with UPS or FedEx is required.
