Client Services Representative

Local to Chicago candidate please.Hybrid role, 3 days/week to downtown Chicago. IL USAMajor Duties :xe2x80xa2 Acts as the primary contact for investment management firms on domestic and/or international trade communication and settlement issues relating to client accounts held at the Bank.xe2x80xa2 Responsible for daily cash management of multiple currencies for international portfolios. Determines appropriate cash management action to take. Initiate foreign exchange and call account activity for client accountsxe2x80xa2 Coordinates daily with investment managers regarding client account activities. Informs managers of any exceptions and proposed steps for resolutionsxe2x80xa2 Identifies service efficiency enhancements, process improvements and service delivery using creative and proactive measuresxe2x80xa2 Researches and resolves processing inquiries and prepares correcting entries including reversals and rejects.xe2x80xa2 Expected to use some initiative but refer more complex problems to supervisors/expertsxe2x80xa2 Works effectively as a team member but also independentlyxe2x80xa2 Knowledgeable of the core aspects of the jobxe2x80xa2 Working towards becoming proficient in all areas of the jobKnowledge Required:experience on- corporate action/ movement of cash/ settlement/ bank loan/ trade processingExperience in financial market xe2x80x93 banks or broker xe2x80x93 dealerShould have an idea on how custodial service works xe2x80x93 operational knowledge. Understand details of transactionClient servicing experience is requiredClear communication xe2x80x93 oral and writtenAbility to access and review and communicate issuesMinimum 2 years of experience in custodial services, more is better.Project Overview:xe2x80xa2 Assist Custody Client Servicing partners manage existing settlement and fail correspondence with clientsxe2x80xa2 Specific process clean-up and management such as PIMCO claim processxe2x80xa2 Research and address client and internal issues and queriesxe2x80xa2 Provide bandwidth for team leaders and managers to support cross-training activities
